I am writing this letter because I wish to express my sincere thanks first for the superb way in which you run your business and second for the excellent customer service provided by your field superintendent.

As you may remember, I am the customer who was having difficulty with getting an electrical line removed in my backyard before digging for the pool could commence.  Both you and your staff resolved this problem between the electric company and our home builder in a timely and effective manner.  You personally kept me apprised of the situation as more information was uncovered and your staff followed up with phone calls and information every step of the way.  In this day and age when customer service seems to be a dying trait, yourself and the team at Mid-City Custom Pools came through for me until the problem was resolved.

With that same focus on customer service, your superintendent performed the duties of his position in a most gratifying manner.  I have never gone through a project of this size so I naturally anticipated one headache after another.  I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this would not be the case on this project.  In fact, this turned out to be a fun project for both my wife and myself as we watched our backyard be converted into a beautiful recreational area.

Thank you!  We LOVE our pool!  We feel like "Club Med" has been built in our backyard - so we can go on "vacation" every day!  This is the best money we have ever spent on anything!

A little over a year ago, my parents were in a near-fatal car accident.  Lots of painful therapy and several surgeries later - my Mom was still struggling to walk.  Water therapy kept getting recommended - but it was very complex and exhausting to transport her to the therapy pool.  Trust me - it was just a nightmare.  The end result was - she wasn't getting the frequency of therapy she needed - so she wasn't walking.

Our friends, the Oglesby's had purchased one of your pools last year and recommended that we talk with you.  When we first met with your salesman, we feared we couldn't afford an in-ground pool.  We shopped for other in-ground pools, above ground pools, blow-up pools, etc.  We actually purchased a very large blow-up pool, and had friends help us construct it in the backyard.  But we couldn't get Mom in it safely.  It was then that we realized and in-ground swimming pool would be much cheaper than an additional surgery from a re-injury!

So, we called you back and within 30 days - we were swimming in an incredibly gorgeous pool!  Mom can easily get in and out of the pool with only the assistance of her walker (instead of 2-3 people) due to your design and placement of the pool, the sloped deck and extra railing.  And in just two days, we could actually see increased mobility and a marked reduction in the swelling in her leg!  I just know she'll be walking again soon!

But more than the therapy aspects - the pool is simply beautiful and so refreshing!  Your professional crew handled everything.  They answered all our questions, thoroughly and completely handled every single detail.  And Don was always available to answer any question - he didn't always pass everything down to another employee.  Everything - from the first visit to finalizing each detail to pool start-up day was GREAT!

You took such good care of us.  We've never owned a pool and there are so many points where we could have been misled, misinformed, etc.  Your company has obviously earned a reputation for being not only professional but also ethical.  More care, concern and craftsmanship was probably put into the pool that was put into the home we live in!

Your salesman handled the sale professionally and attentively by submitting us a design and price that was exactly what we had requested.  He even made excellent referrals for financing and additional contractor work for the patio and arbor.

We were equally impressed with the short construction phase of the pool. We had heard "horror stories" from friends and co-workers about their experiences with other pool companies - prolonged construction, unfinished and poor quality work, all resulting in disputes with their pool companies.  This was not at all what we experienced; we actually enjoyed seeing the progress everyday and were pleased that the pool was completed in less than six weeks, even with a very strict city inspector reviewing the work.
