Friends at Mid Cities Custom Pools,
During our tenure as neighbors, the Mid-cities church has been blessed by your presence. The renovation of the building and the condition of your property is evidence that you care for your neighbors and customers.
Your willingness to allow our members to park in our parking area was a kind gesture that reduced crowding in our parking lot. More recently when we had the plumbing in our baptistery, you hired a repairman who repaired the unit. Cletus Moore told us that you did not allow us to pay for the time and materials spent. Thank you again.
This level of generosity and care should not go unnoticed. We have enclosed a group of gift cards for you use as you see fit. Please accept them as a small token of our appreciation.
May your business be blessed with quality customers. May your service to them be exemplary. May your profits fill the needs of the owners and those you employ. May the presence of Mid Cities Pools increase the value of the community, as it improves the lives of those you work and serve.
Thank you from the Shepherds, for the Mid-Cities Church.
They say that a job well-done is its own reward, but still, you should know how much your hard work means to those around you.
Thanks for doing a good job.
Just wanted to say thank you for referring Andy with Synergy Customs Pools to do our pool resurfacing back in April. Andy Did a great job.
Thanks for the wonderful work that you all did with installing my pool, I love it and it has allowed us to enjoy the outdoors more. Don was also fantastic project coordinator and we appreciated his attention to detail. Please find the form that you requested for completion of the work. The pipe that connects to the water faucet and pump separated and we are manually filling the pool. I understand that someone will be by to fix it?
Thanks and have a wonderful rest of the summer.
Amazing is the only word that comes to mind when I think about our pool project. Before contacting Mid City Custom Pools, I received bids from 3 other pool companies who submitted design that were very similar in shape and they all tried to fit a pool to companies who submitted designs that were very similar in shape and they all tried to fit a pool to the current topography of my overgrown back yard, rather than make the yard work with the pool design. It wasn’t until I met with your designer, Ross, that I truly became excited about the potential of installing a pool. Through every phase of the design, we could see Ross’ excitement and love for his work. When he submitted the design, we were blown away; the design called for leveling our yard, which prior to construction, was a conglomerate of retaining walls and different elevations. In doing so, Ross not only designed a beautiful pool that incorporated everything we asked for and more, but opened up the yard to so much more usable space. I cannot say enough about Ross!
Once we approved the design, we were anticipating a fairly lengthy construction period. Needless to say, we were wrong. The construction supervisor, Eugene, was incredible in keeping crews scheduled every day and communicating each day’s events with us. WE did not experience one day where work was not being completed, which certainly attributed to the mere 13 day build we experienced. In comparison, one of my friends had a smaller pool built, by a well known company, on a level lot that took 2 months to complete. We did not start the build until late August, but Eugene made it his mission to get the pool built in time for us enjoy it before the end of swim season.
From the design process to the completion, Mid City Custom Pools made our dream yard become reality and in return made us customers for life. To those considering a pool build; look no farther… this is the only pool company I would ever recommend.
Mark and I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a BEAUTIFUL pool we now have thanks to your company. You came highly recommended to us and we wanted ti inform you that your work ethic, design and manner that you conduct business was beyond our expectations.
We interviewed numerous pool companies to eliminate a tanning bed that was merely a deck with three (3) inches of water that could seat two (2) chairs with an umbrella, but in reality the decking was just a mud collector where the pool sweep could never clean. (it remained muddy year round requiring cleaning by hand daily)
We chose you because Rodney took the time to sit down and listen to our concerns about the muddy areas and our ideas. Rodney incorporated all our ideas plus his own (which were far better than our ideas) and WOW what a beautiful water fall and decking we now have in our backyard.
Our next encounter was with John, the supervisor assigned to the project, John was extremely competent, knowledgeable and very much a hands on supervisor. John gave us his cell phone number and we always had direct contact with John, even after business hours. If for some reason John did not answer his phone, the call was always returned within a very short period, always the same day. John was always the “go to guy” and if he did not know the answer he would call us back with the correct information. John even took our complaints with the attitude that Mid Cities Custom pools guaranties quality.
Workmanship. John was always forth coming If there was a delay due to rainy conditions but never made an excuse just assured us the job would be complete even if he had to do it himself.
Our pool is now pristine, the water fall has increased circulation and we are pleased to announce that for the first time in eight (8) years we no linger have a muddy spa or pool.
The decking and pool design also exceeded all of our expectations.
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!
Please tell all of the gentleman who worked on the project how pleased we are with their professionalism as well as work ethic.
Our back yard is now our private paradise, alive with the sounds of our new cascading waterfall and crystal blue water. The pool has NEVER looked so inviting!!! We just have one regret.. wish you would have constructed the pool originally.
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful pool that you designed for my family and me. I am an experienced engineer with a major aircraft manufacture and as such, I understand that I can be a challenging customer for any type of builder. We received designs from five different pool companies. You provided two and they were both at the top of our list.
Our yard has a significant slope to it and this was a major issue with most of the design we received. They all utilized expensive retaining walls at either or both ends of the pool. Your plan with the raised beam wall provided the most practical solution. This edge of the pool eliminated the need for retaining walls while doubling as a bench around our new fire pit, which we were able to with the cost savings.
During the design process, you worked within our budget and made suggestions as if you were building the pool for yourself. You had so many good ideas, and many of these helped in areas where we hit our budget constraints. One example was to flagstone the top steps to prevent early fading. Not only did that save money, it provided a great accent. The culmination of these ideas resulted in a plan that left us enthusiastic as we left your office. The ability to view the pool as if it were already complete in our own backyard left a lasting impression. I remember thinking, “if our pool really looks like this, it will be an amazing site”. I almost laughed when you said “the actual pool always looks nicer”. You couldn’t have been more right.
As I mentioned, I am extremely detail oriented. However, after going through the design with you, it put my mind at ease. The careful extensive up front planning and attention to all aspects of the pool yielded a plan that simply needed to be built. I never felt like I needed a double check anything alone the way.
During construction you made a point to be on-site during the major phases (dig day, gunite, decking..). I felt like you and your company cared about us as if you were building the pool for one of your own family members. A exposed with any major construction, there are little things that tend to come up along the way. In all cases, either you or Eugene would point these out to me BEFORE I had time to notice them. Each was corrected in a manner that either matched or exceeded our expectations It was clear that you wanted us to be happy. I do want to mention the fine job that Eugene and Brandon have done. Either or both were at our house almost everyday since the job began. They were courteous and ensured the job met our expectations.
Again, I want to thank you for building my family a pool that we will enjoy for years to com. I can promise that I will recommend you and your company every opportunity that I get.
I just wanted to let you know what a great experience we had with Mid City Custom Pools. Working with Ross was a lot of fun. Ross listened to what we wanted and designed a great pool within our budget. Don did a great job building the pool. Everything was done when he said it was going to be done. Our pool set up guy was Mark, and I can’t say enough about Mark. He has worked his tail off for us and I really appreciate it. One thing that really stands out about these guys was they answered the phone when I called. I can’t tell you how nice it is not having to leave several messages to get a response. Again thank you for making this experience a good one.
When I read the one report on the site I must admit that I had a very difficult time reconciling these remarks and this experience to the one I had with Mid City Custom Pools. I too started out with a very bad experience with another pool company who became very unresponsive once a contract was signed and a deposit given. After a good bit of time of unresponsiveness from the sales person I contacted the owner who told me that my expectations of s4rivce were unrealistic and they had a contract and a deposit and it would be best if I just made friends with the fact that project was going to unfold in the matter that it was going to unfold regardless of my phone calls.
I decided that I would rather lose the deposit than enable or encourage such behavior be allowing it to go unchecked I called my bank and the contractor and dissolved the contract, and did indeed have to eat my deposit. I had decided to put the project off for a few months but a friend in the landscaping business, hearing my story, suggested I call Mid City Custom Pools just to see if there might be a way the project could get put back on track.
I met with Don Pierce who listened closely to my concerns to my very detailed story. He presented a project scenario that not only addressed all of my concerns regarding expectations of how I thought a customer paying this much money fro anything should be kept informed, his solution put me back on schedule that was going to allow me to compete my landscaping project that was on hold until after the pool job.
Timeliness is not everything though, I thought that the design I already had was a very good but Don asked if he could suggest some changed. These changes ended up turning the project from OK to stunning. Don did have to get involved once or twice through the project but was always available and responsive. The vendors or sub-contractors that worked on my project were all very skilled and respectful of my property, pets, and belongings.
After the pool was complete, a gentleman named mark gave me a “pool school” class and has been available for any questions about things I forgot during the school and has come by to check on me after his official duties were complete. I am very impressed with this service in particular. The pool I have just had completed in the house that I just had built (finished last week in April) has been the best experience I have had in the entire process regarding the total construction of this residence. I hold Don, Mid City Custom Pools, and his staff at the office in very high regard and consider myself a somewhat difficult man to please. This is why when I read these previous comments it is very difficult for me to reconcile or imagine that we had such diametrically different experiences with the same company.
I want to personally thank you and your staff for the professional way of how our pool was handled from the first contact with Shan in Sales to Eugene in construction.
The level of service that Shan and Eugene have exhibited has been truly outstanding. Answering our sometime mundane questions and keeping us informed each day of the scheduled work plans. We are extremely excited to be in the final stages of construction and look forward to many happy years of use.
I wanted to take a few moments to let you know how pleased we are with our recent pool remodel. We were referred to Mid City pools by our good friend Jay Canada with Nobile Tile. He told us that we would not go wrong in working with Mid City Pools…. He was absolutely correct. To be honest, I had my concerns when Andy Scott with synergy Custom Pools showed up representing Mid City Custom pools.. however, those concerns were quickly eliminated. Andy explained that he has had a long relationship with yourself and Mid City Custom Pools and that he does remodel work for Mid City Custom Pools. It was clear from the very start that Andy knew what he was talking about and was very helpful in explaining what/when/how things needed to be done. We quickly developed a comfortable relationship with Andy and his crews. Our pool/deck remodel was done very professionally; was completed as we were told and we could not be more pleased with the finished product. Andy went out of his way (was at y house on Sunday morning checking the water chemistry) to do us a good job and represented Mid City Pools in a very professional manner.. a very good business decision on your part.
My Wife & I appreciate the first rate job done with our pool/deck remodel and with our first experience dealing with Mid City Pools. We will definitely recommend Mid City Pools to our friends and Mid City Pools will be “our” Pool company from this day forward. Thank again for doing a 1st Rate job and please express our appreciation to your staff
I wanted to drop you a note about how satisfied I am with Andy Scott and his crew who finished remolding our pool. You made a good decision to have Andy represent your company when someone calls Mid Cities for a pool remodel. He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it and with a very professional attitude.
You have strengthened our relationship with your company by sending Andy.
My wife Rachel and I would like to thank Mid Cities Custom Pools for a great building experience. We met with multiple builders in the DFW/metroplex, areas and could not be happier with our decision to go with MCCP. Our experience began on the sales and design side with Ross Woerner. Ross is very talented and enthusiastic about his job, and came up with a design for our swimming pool that we loved immediately. He has a lot of creative ideas and experience that he is eager to share with customers. More importantly, he has been very helpful in guiding us through the entire process from the initial design to final start up and pool school. Our experience with MCCP project manager Eugene, was also fantastic. He was accessible for questions, and very helpful in coordinating subcontractor scheduling as well as following up to make sure that the project was going according to plan. Our family is excited to enjoy our new pool this summer, and would highly recommend MCCP to anyone that is interested in building a swimming pool. Thanks again MCCP!
I would like to take this opportunity to that you and your company for building a spectacular pool at my house. What a great company you have! In particular I would like to thank Laine Pochman for his design ideas and all his preliminary planning. When the actual construction began I really want to thank Darren Barton. I saw Darren nearly every single day. He and Laine worked so hard, so attentive to details on this entire project. Darren kept things moving; always kept me informed as to what was going on; when things would happen, etc. Sherri Smith in your office coordinated a lot of the paperwork and was very informative as to any papers that needed attention. Finally Mark the pool guy took his time to explain everything to me and make sure that I understand everything involved with daily maintenance with a pool.
I would highly recommend Mid City Custom Pools to anybody. Everyone who sees my pool is in awe as I am every time I look at it. I Proudly tell them that your company built my pool!
Thank you!
We decided to go with Mid-City Custom Pools because they offered a discount for our Home builder. We met with Dave and discussed some ideas, gave him some pictures of pools we liked, plans for our new house, and let him know what we were looking for. A few days later we went into the office and were blown away by the 3D software presentation he had ready for us. We signed our contract and Mid-City Custom Pools got started right away.
We have been enjoying our pool for about a year now and even when the weather is bad, it’s nice to just look outside and see how beautiful it is. Our friends have commented that our backyard looks like an oasis. We love our pool and are very happy with it and with Mid-City Custom Pools.
I want to take a moment to thank you and others, for you bringing the pool to life to begin with and for overseeing it put to bed so to speak. I have great respect for Mark, he took me through the process of having a pool and it is my understanding that he has been with you for many years. Take a piece of advice from a former executive, “take care of him”. He is a precious commodity in these days.
I also want you to pass this on to the contractor who poured the concrete today. The two workers he left behind to work the concrete after it was poured, were unbelievable in their dedication to making sure the end result of their work was perfect.
They finally left about 3:30 this afternoon. I watched as they wash down the flag stone in what I consider very cold weather. The guy doing most of it, worked with a sponge in what I consider to be very cold water. That to me is dedication to his job and his boss needs to be told that.
Without fail everyone we know that has built a pool in Keller has used one particular Keller pool company, and we are unsure why as we only heard horror stories in return. We undertook to do our due diligence on a builder, and after an exhaustive search, we landed on MCCP. I will note that during the bid process, MCCP was the only company that gave us their fair price at the outset. There were no games. Further, MCCP was incredibly accommodating on the start date as we cared for our elder dog and did not want any disruption to her yard while we still had her. It turns out these dealings with MCCP were reflective of our future experience as the entire build process was quick and smooth. All subcontractors were incredibly respectful and professional. Our GC was a good communicator; he even would power wash the sidewalk and street during his visits. While I cannot yet speak of the performance of the pool, I can say that MCCP provided an excellent building experience. Based on what I know at this time, I would highly recommend MCCP to our friends and family.
Mid City Custom Pools exceeded our expectations. Josh really listened and gave us a great design that was exactly what we wanted but would never be able to come up with ourselves.
Scott our GC was always available and made the process easy.
Mark the Pool School expert was absolutely the best!! He did such a great job explaining how to take care of the pool. This is our first pool and I am the person that does it all. Thankfully he’s available for questions and responds quickly!
We’ve had a great experience with Mid City Custom Pools from the beginning. Josh designed us the pool of our dreams that fits perfectly in our relatively small backyard. He worked with us on our budget and though we didn’t get everything we wanted, we got all our must haves at a price we were comfortable with. Eric handled the build with the utmost professionalism and always with a positive attitude. He had to work with our home builder on timing which caused some delays, but Eric and MCCP did everything they could to move things along on our timeline. And if course, there were some hiccups as is expected with any build, but MCCP addresses the issues quickly (for example, the pavers were uneven in some spots and the team came back out to level them the next week). Mark took great care of setting up the chemicals and reaching us how to use and maintain the pool and equipment. Thank you MCCP for our dream backyard!
Dave White with MCCP has been very attentive and great to work with. He has answered all of our questions and addressed everything very thoroughly. He is very professional. We interviewed about 6 local companies and chose MCCP because of their attention to detail and excellent customer service. We are currently about to begin building, awaiting final permits from the city. We’re looking forward to construction because the first phase (the design, pricing and drafting of the pool) has been flawless with Dave. Highly recommend contacting him if you are considering a pool.
Fabulous Experience!
After first contracting with another pool company who went out of business and left about 40 households with unfinished projects we went to Mid City Custom Pools to finish the remaining ~40% of the project. They were extremely understanding of our situation and gave us a good price and timeline. Final price was what they quoted and the end results are perfect! They are a great team to work with and are extremely knowledgeable and customer-oriented. As they have been in business since 1973 they have an excellent rapport with our city of Colleyville and quickly transferred permits. All inspections passed first time as they do quality work at each step of the way. We now have a pool, spa, arbor, and firepit that we love. When we are ready to add our outdoor kitchen they will definitely do the job. A huge thanks to MCCP which we would highly recommend to anyone.
Must read to the end!!
Customer service seemed fantastic at first. Follow up and follow through was stellar!!
However we needed to call them back for an issue with the pool light, to which they said it was not under warranty and would be a service call and to call the contractor they recommended. All for an item that would probably take 20 minutes and a new light ring to fix.
The pool came with a 3 year warranty and still has a little under two years left. Not sure that means anything if Mid City Pools decides they don’t want to honor it.
We will just pay someone to come and repair. Wish their moral compass was a little stronger.
I am so proud to update the above review with most deserving highest marks!!
Wow Mid Cities has restored my original perception of being a top self company!
I received a call from the owner whom read my review of dissatisfaction. He very professionally explained the breakdown in communication and was expedient to take care of the issue. This is the type of customer service we all hope to give as well as receive. I highly recommend using Mid Cities Pools for any goods and services they can provide…The entire Greene family absolutely will!
Thanks Mid Cities!!
I gave these guys five stars shortly after they started the work on our remodel. Now tgat they are finished, I wish I could give them six. They were professional, kind and easy to work with. Any concern or complaint I had throughout the process was addressed promptly. We are so impressed with their knowledge, expertise and dedication to getting the job done tge right way. We love our pool and new deck! Thank you Mid City Custom Pools!
Josh was great to work with in the design process and everything pre-construction. We had a bit of a hiccup when the estimated completion date was pushed back but Ross, the GM, stepped in and made the situation manageable. Ross did a fantastic job of communicating through the whole process. They completed our pool in about 6 weeks. I’d recommend their services to anyone who asks. I would also recommend that you ask for clear expectations as to what additional costs may be incurred (irrigation, additional soil, extra fuse box, etc.). Not all situations will require everything extra but it will help your budgeting to know what could come up ahead of time.
The staff and the people that work there are great. I have not yet had a chance to get a pool built by them but have had asked them plenty of questions and they have educated me on them. Getting a pool isnt the easiest choice and choosing someone but mid city really makes it to choose.
Fantastic company who truly value their customers!
Been a pool owner for nearly 3 years, had my very first issue come up. No joke, had Mark over at my house and 5 minutes and had my entire pool sorted in less than an hour… on a friday… at 530pm!! MCCP or nothing!
